purpose
We believe that
students are a vital part of the Body of Christ, the family at Bear
Creek, and the future of God's Kingdom. This stage of life is crucial
in discovering who God is, who He made us to be, how you can have a
relationship with Him, and how
great a life can be when lived in connection with Him and His purposes. Middle
School and High School students have a unique opportunity to plug into
the student
ministry in order to gain and to spread a passion
for Christ in all of life!
who?
Students
from 7th grade-12th grade
what?
By engaging the Text (Scripture) we seek to
experience the Truth (the Triune God)! Large group interaction and
small group discussions help us grow individually and collectively. The
overflow of God’s love changes us as we seek to then serve
our neighbors as well as the global community through service projects
and mission trips.
when &
where?
Rise & Shine: meets
Sunday morning in the youth room from 9:45am-10:45am for a time to
explore the Scriptures in community and to discuss life in small groups.
Student Sundays: meets
every other Sunday during the school year in the youth room from
5:15pm-7:17pm for fellowship, food, fun, extended time of praising God
in song, and a lesson. Occasionally, we will meet in the community for
times of service on Sundays ('Faith without works is dead'). Check the
Student Calendar for specifics.
Middle School Mondays and High School Tuesdays: Every
other week, we'll meet in host homes mid-week for a time of hanging out
and encourgement.
Online: we facilitate a safe online community
